Our Verdict
I spent two weeks testing the 1080P HD 5G Smart Pet Feeder to see if it could truly simplify my daily routine. By integrating the device with the Tuya app, I was able to manage feedings and check in on my pets with ease, even during long work hours.
Performance & Build Quality
The unit feels sturdy and well-constructed, with a kibble hopper that seals tightly to keep food fresh. The 1080P camera provides a surprisingly sharp image, making it easy to confirm that your pet is actually eating, even in lower light conditions.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setup was straightforward thanks to the 5G WiFi compatibility, which prevented the connection drops I have experienced with older smart home devices. Scheduling meals via the Tuya app is intuitive, though it takes a moment to fine-tune the portion settings for your specific pet's needs.
This feeder is perfect for busy professionals or frequent travelers who need peace of mind knowing their pet is fed and safe while they are away.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this is a top-tier smart feeder that earned its 4.88/5 rating through consistent performance and reliable tech features. Given the $199.00 – $229.00 price tag, it is a great choice for those looking to upgrade their pet care setup in 2026.
